Bakang Palai
Founder and Executive Director of Leru Property Group, Bakang is a visionary real estate entrepreneur whose career proves that world-class excellence and inclusive growth are natural allies. Over two decades he has led residential, commercial and mixed-use developments exceeding BWP 3 billion, from Airport Junction Shopping Mall and the FNB Head Office to large-scale affordable housing programmes.
He holds an MSc in Luxury Management (International University of Monaco) and a BSc in Property Studies (University of Cape Town), and is a Mandela Washington Fellow. A registered property valuer, auctioneer and estate agent, he serves as Vice Chairperson of the Botswana Investment and Trade Centre, sits on the Real Estate Advisory Council of Botswana, and co-founded the Botswana Green Building Council. He also founded Leru Auctions and 31/5 Luxury Group.
